JUST AN OBSERVATION....

Normally all my blogs start with "THE BRUTAL TRUTH", however this time I am just going to make some observations.

I have seen several things that trouble me deeply in the past few years, the last few months in particular. It appears as if this country hasn't had more separation since the time of the Civil War. Differing political views are pitting friend against friend, family against family and even those that are related are on non-speaking terms due to the current political state of this country. If nothing else, it is sad that our country has come down to this. I think it is safe to say that right now is a very scary time in this country. Not since the Revolutionary War have Americans been this scared of their controlling entity (government). I believe that even Liberals deep down know that something is "rotten in the state of Denmark." However they scream out at the Conservatives, I believe more out of fear then by their convictions.

Firearms and ammunition have by flying off the shelves at record pace. There is only one explanation for this. I believe that most Americans are afraid of their government pointing guns at them, and they want the ability to be able to shoot back. Over 200 years ago the citizenry of this fine up-start nation of ours went to war against a tyrannical King. Is tyranny that far off for our government if it continues down this same path? I think it is almost there. Now granted times are completely different than they were 200 years ago. However we are taxed at a much higher percentage rate now than we were when the Boston Tea Party was pulled off by angry colonists. Yet the Democrats wish to increase our taxes. For those of you that don't know, there is a day that's now in August called "Government Day". That is the day that our taxes as a whole pay the cost of operating the American Government for the year. Back in the 80's it was in April.

It seems that Americans are starting to wake up. The outcry against "Obamacare" heard around this country at the August town hall meetings was the beginning. However the fight is FAR from over. Why do the Democrats want to pass Universal health care for the entire country when only 15 to 20 million Americans are without health care? If you do the math of what percentage 20 million is of 300 million it comes up to 6.6666666666 %. Coincidence? I'm sure it is however it is rather amusing. I am so tired of the "greater good" cause the Democrats always use when talking about whatever new legislation they are trying to get passed. In fact It actually makes me physically sick whenever I hear that phrase for it only means one thing. A socialist agenda.

The thing that I find Ironic about all this is the fact Liberals love to protest anything and everything. Whenever they think they need to take to the streets to shout and protest they do. Now this is a right guaranteed to them under the First Amendment of The Constitution of The United States of America. The ironic part is this. If the liberals were to have their way and turn this country into a socialist nation, it would not be long before even that right was taken away from them. I have no doubt the Liberals in government would use the "greater good" line to eventually take away all the rights given to us by the Constitution. Regardless of what political party you side with, or if you have no political views at all, this should scare the shit out of anyone.

I believe in my heart of hearts that if our For-Fathers were to see what this country has turned into, they would be dis-heartened, hurt, sickened and mad as hell that we as Americans have let our government turn this nation into what it is today. When I see videos on youtube that depict self proclaimed communists defacing our flag and protesting those that have fought and died for everything the flag stands for, I know this country is in dire straights.

I don't care what political affiliation you have, I just want you to open your eyes and see what the government as a whole is doing to this once great nation of ours. Our representatives were voted into office by us to do what the majority of their constituents want them to do. It is plain to see that the elected officials have not been doing this for a long time. The elected officials in Washington would rather take money from lobbyists and special interest groups. Didn't Obama say that he would get rid of lobbyists and special interest groups in Washington during his campaign? It is time that we as Americans exercise our rights and demand that our elected officials start doing their fucking jobs. It is time that "WE THE PEOPLE" demand our government do things "FOR THE PEOPLE" as the Constitution demands.
