THE BRUTAL TRUTH ABOUT RELIGION.......

It seems that a lot of stock is put into religion by the world’s population as a whole. Now I will never bash anyone for what they believe, however I will call out certain hypocrisies. One thing that bothers me, no strike that, is one thing that the religious zealots should be stoned to death for: IF I WANTED TO BE PART OF YOUR FUCKING RELIGION, I WOULD BE!!! NOW QUIT KNOCKING ON MY FUCKING DOOR!! Now that being said, I understand the need for missionaries to try and spread “God’s word”. It is good for the uninformed to be able to have the opportunity to learn about any particular religion and then make their own choice from there.

The Bible is preached by the masses as “God’s word”, however last time I checked, Heaven doesn’t have a publishing house, nor are they in the distribution business either. The Bible is man’s interpretation of “God’s word”. {Ever played the game telephone? You know you sit in a great big circle with a bunch of people and whisper something in someone’s ear and see if it’s the same thing when it gets back to you. It never is.} That’s the problem with interpretation.

Just since I was born the bible used to read: “Thou shall not covet thy neighbors ass.” then it has been changed to “Thou shall not covet thy neighbors wife.” ....and further still to the current version as of this blog, “Thou shall not covet.” Now it appears to me due to the interpretation of man, and man’s free will to change “God’s word” in just my 35 years, umm HOW MUCH HAS IT BEEN FUCKING CHANGED SINCE THE ORIGINAL? So being as how this has changed, what else has? I have no doubt, that it is more than we will ever be told..

Im now going to cover a few examples to show the problem I have with religion. The Catholics first. All be it, the Bible explains that mankind should mold themselves after gods image and try to walk the path of righteousness. Yet, the Catholics have confession, so no matter what sin you commit, as long as you go to confession, everything is forgiven. Of course after you do your hail Mary’s or whatever other punishment the priest gives you. Now these priest are not without sin. Remember the multiple priests who molested the alter boys? How many of them got convicted? How many of them were forced to leave the church? Do the research yourself and I have no doubt the results will not only shock you, but you will be sickened as well.

Now if you are a Baptist and commit a sin, all you have to do is say a prayer to Jesus and again all will be forgiven.

Now the Mormons. When the Mormon church was first formed they practiced Polygamy. (The lifestyle of being married to multiple wives.) When the Mormons went to Utah with Brigham Young. (He had 28 wives. Not to mention 64 children) All was thought to be well. When Utah applied for statehood, the Government told them they would not grant statehood as long as they practiced polygamy. Also facing ridicule from society as a whole the leader of the Mormons had a “Revelation” that God had said it is no longer appropriate to have multiple wives. BIG SURPRISE!!! No more polygamy for the Mormons, society backs off, and Utah is granted statehood. Now many, many years later the Mormons came under fire from society again. This time because Blacks were not allowed to hold the Priesthood. Again the president of the Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) had a “Revelation” that God said it was now ok for Blacks to hold the priesthood. WOW, ANOTHER BIG SURPRISE!!! Bend to what society wants instead of practicing the freedom of religion.

I could go on and on about the different hypocrisies in several other religions but I’m sure you get the Idea. THERE IS ONLY ONE BIBLE PEOPLE!!! Yet how many religions are based on that one book? All due to the interpretation of men. So go ahead and have faith, or believe whatever you want. I’m happy for you, really I am. However do not try to push your belief system on me and tell me why your religion is the right one and everyone else’s is wrong. Don’t get me wrong here, I think the Bible teaches good morales, and a clean lifestyle.


When I die, if there is a judgement I must face, I will do so with the confidence of knowing that I never let anyone try to convince me that their founders interpretation of “God’s word” is how I should live my life.

That’s the Brutal Truth the way I see it.

The problem with self importance.

I need to preface this with the following:
I don’t give a rat’s ass if anyone likes this, or if I offend anyone by writing it. I more wrote it for myself then for the masses. However I made it public to get other people’s opinion on this matter, so any and all comments will be appreciated.

It seems that a lot of self proclaimed “bloggers” have taken up residence all over the internet. Now while some of them absolutely have writing chops, the majority are hacks at best. All too often someone will get an invite, “come read my blog”. I am all for self promotion, IF YOUR STUFF IS GOOD. Now here in the problem with my previous statement. Too many people are afraid to hurt a person’s feelings by telling them they suck. So they in turn will give the sugar coated answer “hey great stuff” or something else equally annoying, even if their stuff is unreadable.

There also seems to be a rise in “comedy” blogs. Let me clue you in. 99.9% of them are not funny! Out of that percentage, 99.9% are absolutely atrocious. However time after time you still see in the comments, “Very funny”, “Hey great stuff” NO ITS NOT YOU FUCKING DOUCHEBAGS! TELL THE FUCKING TRUTH!!! They say honesty is the best policy. Then why doesn’t anyone want to be honest? Why are people so worried about not being “liked” for their fake opinion?

It seems we have had this way of thinking forced upon us by society as a whole. I’m sure that we can all think of something we used to say that the term has now changed. Why?, because we can’t dare offend or upset someone. WHO FUCKING CARES? I believe all this stuff was started by the geeks who got picked on in school. I got picked on in school too. It was fucking school!!! GET THE FUCK OVER IT!!!

In closing, let me say this. IF YOU ASK ME TO READ YOUR BLOG, BE PREPARED FOR THE BRUTAL TRUTH AS I SEE IT. However if you do ask me to read your blog and my comments are less than favorable, at least be big enough to leave them up there. DON’T BE A FUCKING PUSSY AND DELETE THEM. Just be real....that's all I have ever asked of anyone.
